Privacy
KoguNavi is built around a local-first posture for the current public tools. The short version: no account, no upload for current tools, and analytics disabled unless explicitly configured.
Current MVP behavior
- Current tools are designed to process input locally in the browser.
- KoguNavi does not use a database for the current MVP.
- There are no accounts, sign-in flows, or user profiles.
- Analytics are disabled by default unless the deployment is explicitly configured to enable optional Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- User input is not intentionally uploaded for the current tools.
- Typing practice stores recent score history in a browser session cookie when used; it does not save the typed text itself.
- Future server-side tools, if added, should be clearly labeled before use.
Sensitive data
Even with local-first tools, avoid pasting passwords, production secrets, private keys, tokens, or sensitive personal data into any website unless you have reviewed and trust the full environment.
Future tools
If KoguNavi adds tools that require server-side processing later, those tools should be labeled with their processing mode and should explain what changes before users paste input.
Traffic measurement
KoguNavi can be configured to use Cloudflare Web Analytics for pageview-level traffic measurement after launch, but it is not enabled by default.
- If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is used for pageview-level traffic measurement.
- Tool input is not sent for analytics.
- No custom event tracking is used in this phase.
- KoguNavi does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics.
