Good to know

FAQ

Are my photos uploaded?
No. This tool converts the selected photo in your browser and does not use an external conversion API.
Why can conversion take a few seconds?
HEIC photos are compressed on disk but large when decoded. Large iPhone photos can take a few seconds, especially on mobile.
Does the output keep EXIF metadata?
Do not rely on metadata being preserved. The output is re-encoded, so details such as location metadata are not treated as part of the converted file.
